As of January 1, 2025, beer distributors and wholesalers in the state of North Carolina are no longer permitted to offer complimentary draft line cleaning to their retailers. What does this mean for customers?

The new legislation puts the responsibility back on retailers to either clean their own lines or contract with a professional service provider such as Brew-tiful Lines to keep their systems clean and working properly. Draft line cleanliness and service is NOT currently regulated by the ABC Commission or state health inspectors.
